Summer Camps

Make music in person this summer! Week-long camps for beginning to advanced students.

Summer Camps: July 19 – 23

We are excited to offer three in-person week-long summer camps for beginning to advanced strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion. Half-day sessions will take place in downtown St. Paul and will be led by GTCYS conductors Mary Sorlie, Dan Mollick, Tamara Gonzalez, and Mark Russell Smith. To ensure the health and safety of all, masks will be required for all students and staff. All camps will be held in the St. Paul RiverCentre and will end with a final performance at the Landmark Center. Tuition is $300 plus a $20 registration fee, with tuition assistance available. Details on each orchestra below!

Playing Samples for Summer Camps

Playing samples are required for Summer Sinfonietta and Summer Symphony to help conductors get to know you as a player and match you with a camp level. No playing sample is required for Summer Philharmonia. If you are auditioning for a 2021-22 GTCYS school-year orchestra, your audition video will serve as your playing sample.
