Percussion Seminars
Percussion Seminars Overview
Our percussionists are essential to the orchestras’ success, and we want GTCYS to be a place where they can thrive both musically and socially. At Percussion Seminars, GTCYS percussionists refine their percussion skills and musicianship, and supplement their GTCYS orchestra experience at no extra cost. This series of master classes:
- Builds camaraderie and community among the percussionists from all of GTCYS’ orchestras
- Creates mentorship opportunities between beginning through advanced percussionists
- Develops techniques and positive habits for practicing
- Provides more individualized instruction to help students prepare their orchestra parts
