Instrument Donations

Fall 2024: We are not accepting donated instruments at this time. Please check back in a few months. Thank you!

Give your unused cello or violin a new home with a young musician in GTCYS’ Harmony Strings Program at Riverview West Side School of Excellence on St. Paul’s West Side.

We will happily accept any instruments in good working condition. But this season, we are especially in need of:  

• 1/8 cellos
• 1/4 size violins
• Full size cellos
• Full size violins
• Violin bows
• Violin shoulder rests (for sizes 1/2-4/4)
• Spare rosin
• Spare strings (all sizes all instruments)

Instruments must be playable and in good working condition 

GTCYS does not appraise instruments, but all donations will receive tax-deductible acknowledgement.

We also accept all other orchestral instruments including winds, brass, and percussion! To donate an instrument please fill out this form to coordinate a drop-off. For questions, contact Jacob West at jacob@gtcys.org.
