Since 1972, GTCYS has helped more than 16,000 young people attain excellence, practice teamwork and explore their connection to the world around them. While many GTCYS alumni can be found in the world’s most esteemed orchestras, the majority apply the values they learned in GTCYS – excellence, teamwork, and community engagement – in their lives as teachers, doctors, lawyers, parents, engineers, community leaders and more.
