  • Are you part of a pre-formed chamber music group, and are you and your group interested in being contacted about chamber music performance opportunities this season?
  • If you are part of a Chamber Group, please describe the group here. Please list the instrumentation of your group, the names of the other members, and whether or not they are also GTCYS members. Thank you!
  • GTCYS' Student Leadership Team represents each of our orchestras and meet twice per month with Community Engagement Liaison (and Concertino West conductor) Dan Mollick to share ideas, collaborate, and practice and develop leadership skills!
  • Are you interested in researching a piece your orchestra is working on and share it with audiences at concerts?
  • Welcome students at first rehearsals, help with new-student orientation, and plan your orchestra’s social activities.
  • Help come up with creative ideas and post content on social media for your orchestra.
  • Write thank you letters and/or make thank you calls to donors and volunteers.
  • Check in guests, help with reception activities, and speak on stage.
  • Speak from the stage in front of a large audience.
  • Assist GTCYS' Librarian with music preparation and filing in the office (copying, cleaning, counting out parts, etc.).
  • Assist your orchestra's rehearsal assistant and conductor in clean-up after weekly rehearsals.
  • For example, let us know if you speak/write another language or languages, if you have the skills to make videos, if you're an artist/graphic designer and you'd like to share your talents at GTCYS, or if there's anything else about you that you'd like us to know.
