5-Night Lake Superior Shoreline Getaway

Perfect for a family reunion or friends gathering, privately owned Sugarloaf Family Cabins rest along 450’ of Lake Superior’s shoreline in the idyllic north woods. This former mom-and-pop resort property can sleep 12-14 guests in four vertical-log cabins near Schroeder and some of Minnesota’s most iconic North Shore destinations along Highway 61.

The property includes four cabins: a hot tub and a sauna cabin with a shower and screen porch, a “Gathering Cabin” with full kitchen for communal meals and relaxing, and two sleeping cabins with 5 bedrooms each (combo of double beds plus 3 twins in a loft accessible by ladder), toilet, and kitchenette. Guests would have exclusive access to the cabins, though the property owners would stay on site in the caretaker’s house to answer any questions that arise. Housekeeping is not included, and guests are asked to leave the property ready for the next guests.

This five-night package is available June through September with arrival on Sunday afternoon and Friday afternoon departure. Blackout dates include holiday weekends and Fourth of July week, June 18-30, July 16-23, and August 13-19.
