Symphony Part Assignments
Dear members of GTCYS Symphony,
We’re looking forward to the first Symphony rehearsal of the 2026–27 season! In advance of this rehearsal, we’re sharing your part assignments and digital parts of the two pieces you’ll receive at the first rehearsal, Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 3, and Charles Ives’ Variations on America.
Begin practicing this music as soon as possible! To reduce paper use, try using a computer or tablet to view the music, rather than printing. Also, the parts uploaded to Dropbox are working documents, so they’ll be updated as our Music Librarian, Ben, finishes final edits.
Early practice now will pay dividends later and set up Symphony for a terrific year! Enjoy the music!
