Thanks for a great season, SLT!
Dear Student Leadership Team,
Congratulations on your Spring Festival performances this past weekend and thank you for an amazing year of Student Leadership Team! We accomplished so much this year and you truly made an impact on GTCYS. Here’s a list of what we accomplished:
- Listened to peers and shared student feedback with GTCYS
- Shared announcements and led Get to Know You questions in rehearsal to help connect students with one another
- Led social activities at retreats
- Coordinated a Donation Drive and collected many hundreds of pounds of food for our neighbors
- Participated in GTCYS Day of Service
- Volunteered at Orchestrating Opportunities
- Created GTCYS’ first student-led yearbook
- Updated and improved the ambassador presentation slides
- Worked on spirit night themes and new merch ideas for next season
- Lots of little things that made a big difference!
Two of our members are graduating seniors: Layla C. and Tania S. Thank you for your work on SLT and we wish you the best in your future pursuits! For those not graduating, I hope to see many of you back next year!
Finally, here’s our group photo from our last in-person meeting:

Have a wonderful rest of your school year and a relaxing summer!
