Letter from Tamara (10/2)

We are making steady strides towards becoming performance-ready. Thanks so much to our mentors for their contributions to our progress.

Now that you have your seating audition excerpts, I am kicking practice into high gear. Spend a consistent 10 minutes daily on these spots, and sprinkle in check-ins on other challenging spots in both of our fall festival pieces. We need to have Vals Bohemienne and Overture to Coriolanus pretty close to concert-ready on the next two rehearsals, because in mid October we need to start preparing the music for our December concert as well. Please listen to the playlist regularly to help support your practice. You’ve got this!
