Hey Philharmonia West,
Super fun treat night this week! Thanks to all who brought snacks and for our amazing parent volunteers. These nights would not happen without you.
Next week is our final rehearsal before Fall Festival! So much progress has been made these past few weeks. Thank you for your work at home, as well as our hardworking, Monday evening rehearsals. Next week, we will rehearse our stage/performance etiquette, as well as our repertoire.
In your practice at home this week, imagine that you are performing at Orchestra Hall. Practice with your Orchestra Hall posture, sound and finger patterns. Play through Prelude and Raspberry Ramble for an audience at home. This can be anyone. Pets can also be included.
This week, we also spent a little bit of time on our December concert repertoire. Before next Monday, please play through the middle section of Who Can Retell. This would be the D minor section, from measures 25-41. Can you play this 5 times before next Monday?
