Sinfonia West,

We spent a lot of time working on Slavonic Legend on Monday, and this will definitely be one of the pieces we perform at Orchestra Hall!

Winds/Brass: Please focus on the second half of the piece, especially since the key signature makes this section tricky.

Next week at rehearsal, we will be focusing on Waltz of the Wicked. Now is a great time to bring this piece to your private teacher for help if you take private lessons. It is also a great time to listen to the recording and get familiar with the piece!

Strings: Please focus on the middle pizzicato section for the lower strings and the glissandos for the upper strings.

We will also be increasing Momentum to concert tempo: ♩ = 150.
