Hi Sinfonia East!

I heard great things from our substitute conductor about this week’s rehearsal. Thank you for your flexibility and attentiveness.

Next week, we will continue big-picture work on the Strommen and Tchaikovsky, as well as do a second reading of the Mendelson. Please expect to spot check technically challenging parts and play several run-throughs of each piece.

When practicing, do not play through the entire piece. Select small chunks of the music (1 to 12 measures) to practice intentionally.
