Harmony LNFI Week 1 – Welcome Back!

Dear Harmony L’Etoile du Nord Families,

We had a joyful first week of Harmony! It was so great to see all of our returning students, and to meet our new “Harmony Roots” class!

This week we:

  • Got to know one another and spent time with our Small Group classes and teachers
  • Reviewed the Harmony Mantra: “I am responsible for my words, actions, and instrument”
  • Talked about our Harmony Values: Community, Joy, Kindness, Courage, and Effort
  • Saw a short performance by the Harmony Teaching Artists

Attendance: please remember that attendance at Harmony is not optional – students need to come to Harmony unless they are sick or missing school that day for another reason. If you do need to miss a Harmony class, fill out an Absence Form to let us know!

Here are a few important reminders for families:

  • If you have a violin or cello at home, remember to bring it to school on Monday!
  • Harmony students may not enter the building until 7:50am.
  • You can always find Harmony information on the Harmony on the Member Page. This week you’ll also find some photos from our first day!

Have a wonderful MEA break. We are looking forward to breaking into our small group classes and playing some music together next week!

Thanks,
Emily
