2026 Tour Day 8: Taronga Zoo & Harbor Dinner Cruise

Hi everyone! My name is Kevin, and I play bassoon. Today we started our morning with a walk to Big W (it’s like Australian Target). Then we headed to Taronga Zoo, where we got up close with some incredible Australian wildlife and saw some fantastic views of Sydney.

The afternoon took us to the beach, where we played frisbee with Maestro, swam in the ocean, and got a volleyball game going with the group.

After we took a break at the hotel, we boarded a dinner cruise with an incredible meal: smoked salmon to start, roasted chicken breast with vegetables and mashed potatoes, and a chocolate and mandarin dome for dessert. As we ate, we also got to see the stunning Opera House and the bridge.

Back at the hotel, we ran through our program in preparation for tomorrow’s performance at the Sydney Opera House.
