2024 Tour Day 1: En Route to Southern France

The GTCYS students are very excited for their 2024 France and Barcelona Trip. Students have spent the past year preparing a challenging and diverse repertoire to play for their foreign audiences. Symphony students gathered at MSP airport on Saturday, June 15 to depart to Frankfurt and eventually Lyon, France where their tour begins!

When asked what they were looking forward to most, they mentioned opportunities such as visiting the Palau, seeing European architecture, visiting the beach, and most importantly, FOOD. GTCYS has prepared a wide variety of interactive activities to do in addition to three concerts.

We all look forward to spending the next 10 days in Europe.  À bientôt!
