GTCYS Student Mentor Application

Students enrolled in Philharmonic and Symphony have the opportunity to serve as mentors to GTCYS’ less-advanced orchestras. Mentors are responsible for setting their own mentoring schedule, and they must commit to mentoring at least five rehearsals in the spring (January – May).

Philharmonic students may mentor Philharmonia West, Sinfonia West, Concertino West (Mondays), or Concertino East (Thursdays). Symphony students may mentor Philharmonia East or Sinfonia East (Tuesdays) or Concertino East (Thursdays). Please check as many options as you would like, and GTCYS will send directions, schedules, and instructions once mentor assignments have been determined.
