GTCYS Student Ambassadors

GTCYS Student Ambassadors forge connections between their school ensembles (classmates/teachers) and GTCYS by raising awareness about GTCYS opportunities with their school band and orchestra programs. Student Ambassadors work with their school band or orchestra teachers to schedule a 10-minute talk about GTCYS opportunities for their school instrumental ensemble(s). GTCYS will provide the Ambassadors with handouts for their classmates, a small gift for Ambassadors' teachers, and links to GTCYS recordings that they can play in class. This opportunity is open only to students who are active members of their school instrumental music (band or orchestra) ensembles. If multiple students from the same school sign up to be ambassadors, they will receive instructions to make their presentation as a team. The deadline to register for the program is Thursday, March 28, and all presentations must be complete by April 26.
