Enrollement for Adventures in Sound is now open!

We’re thrilled to announce that female and nonbinary students (ages 13-18) can now sign up for the spring semester of our introductory composition course, Adventures in Sound!

Students can register until January 20 by emailing info@lunacompositionlab.org and telling us about their musical background, and their facility with reading notated music. All classes take place on Zoom on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm ET, from January 27 – April 21.

Can you please share this information with your female, nonbinary, or gender non-conforming students?

More about Adventures in Sound:

Adventures in Sound is a series of group online composition courses open to female, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming young musicians ages 13-18 who are eager to learn more about music. The courses are designed for beginners to intermediate musicians and creative thinkers and the goal is to come away with an expanded sense of the possibilities for what composing can be. The spring semester, Exploring Inspiration, centers around applied compositional practices including writing for instruments, film, installations, electronics, and beyond. This semester is listening-driven, focusing on topics such as improvisation within structured composition, scores for open instrumentation, music with found objects, music for film, and more.

Thank you for your continued support of our programs, and please let us know if you have any questions.
