Scott Anderson

Clarinet Professor at St. Olaf. Previously taught at UC Berkeley, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Grand Valley State University (MI). Was Principal Clarinet of the Honolulu and Grand Rapids (MI) Symphonies as well as others, member LA Chamber Orchestra, various concerto appearances and recordings, etc. Studied with Robert Marcellus, Stanley Hasty, Rosario Mazzeo, Leon Russianoff, Franklin Cohen and Keith Underwood, among others. Particularly interested in good practice strategies. Many prior students have been admitted to top-tier music schools; some are now in major orchestras.
