Sarah Weisbrod
Sarah Weisbrod teaches flute to students of all ages and abilities. Her methods are aimed at helping students become the best possible versions of themselves while simultaneously teaching them how to be well-rounded musicians. She’s passionate about teaching students the language of music, how to build phrases, find patterns, and develop problem solving skills that they can apply in all aspects of life. Sarah’s students have been members of GTCYS, MYS, and competed in regional and state competitions. She is currently a doctoral student at the University of Minnesota, holds a Master of Music in flute performance from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Music, cum laude, in flute performance from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN. Her primary teachers include Immanuel Davis, Julia Bogorad-Kogan, and Debora Harris. Sarah is currently Instructor of Flute at Bemidji State University where she teaches applied flute lessons and methods.
