Sarah Bylsma

I have over fifteen years of performance experience and over six years of teaching experience and I am excited to be continuing my love and passion for music with my local community.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Music Performance from the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from Michigan State University. My experience lies in teaching comprehensive music lessons, particularly in the flute, to all ages and skill levels. As an advocate for fine arts education, I come with an understanding of the tremendous value that music brings to the lives of all people. From beginning fundamentals to more advanced repertoire, I possess a keen ability to mentor students, encouraging them to live into their musical goals and aspirations while cultivating an environment that is enjoyable and engaging.
