About the Instructor
Bass instructor Paul Ousley has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Audubon String Quartet and a host of jazz greats. He has been on the faculty of St. Olaf College for over 30 years. His former teachers include James Clute, Stuart Sankey, Gary Karr, and James Van Demark.
His pupils include music teachers, scholarship recipients at major music schools and festivals, winners of the Schubert Club and Minnesota Idol solo competitions and multiple winners of the International Society of Bassists Competitions for Orchestral and Solo playing.
