About the Instructor

I played with the Minnesota Orchestra for over 30 years, simultaneously with Ensemble Capriccio and then Bakken Trio. My students have won Schubert Club, GTCYS, Thursday Musicale and SPCO Chamber Music Competitions, and have been featured on On the Top radio program. They have majored in music at Indiana University, USC, Colburn, McGill and Northwestern University.
