About the Instructor

I maintain a studio at my home north of St. Paul, Minnesota. Lessons are either 30, 45, or 60 minutes in length, depending on the developmental level of the student. I have worked with students from the age 6 through 50. I have taught Suzuki Education (through St. Cloud Suzuki Program) and at local colleges including St. Cloud State University, University of Wisconsin at River Falls, and Hamline University.
Lesson Material
1) Technique work - exercises, scales and etudes.
2) Solo Repertoire - depending on the level of the student.
3) Orchestral Studies - all students are also encouraged to bring music from ensembles they are playing with to their lessons. Advanced students also work on standard orchestral repertoire.
Studio Recitals take place usually twice a year in January and May. I provide an accompanist for a fee, but students can provide their own.
