Mary Verrill
I prepare students to play classical music as a soloist, in chamber groups and in orchestras. As a freelance violinist and Twin Cities Musicians Union member, I play violin in the Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra, Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra, and other groups. I have been a professional violinist since age 19, earning a Minor in Music Performance (Violin) degree from Viterbo University with training from Juan Cuñeo, concert violinist, and later, Miriam Schneider, UW–Madison Music faculty. I also earned an MA in English from UW–Madison and Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. I create lessons that match the musical skills, interests and goals of each student.
