About the Instructor

Amanda Daniels serves as Adjunct Instructor of Flute at Crown College. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Flute Performance from the University of Northwestern – St. Paul, as well as a Master of Music degree from the University of Minnesota. While a student, Amanda served as Section Leader of the U of M Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra. She has also performed as a substitute flutist and piccoloist with the La Crosse Symphony and Wayzata Symphony Orchestra. Amanda has won awards in the Schubert Club Competition, the Upper Midwest Flute Association Young Artist Competition, and the University of Northwestern Concerto Competition among others.

Audition for GTCYS!

GTCYS auditions are opportunities for students to play their instruments so we can get to know them and match them with one of our ten school-year orchestras for the 2023-24 season. To audition for GTCYS, students register online, record a video, and submit an audition online.
