Laura Harada

I am a conservatory trained violinist with a wide interest in world musics and improvisation-based music. I have special training and experience with Arabic and Middle Eastern music, Brazilian dance music, free jazz, and new music. Lessons focus on creative problem solving and incorporate some level of music theory and improvisation or music writing as time allows. Efficient use of the body for pain-free playing is emphasized.
