Kristin Knoble-Swanson is a K-12 certified music teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Music Education from Oklahoma City University and her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. While studying music, she became proficient at all band and orchestra instruments but focused her efforts on clarinets, saxophones, and flutes. As an educator, Kristin has taught band, general music, guitar, and choir in public schools in both Minnesota and Oklahoma and has a passion for fighting for equity in the school system. She is an active performer in the Twin Cities—playing woodwinds in musicals, churches, and jazz ensembles. Kristin also performs on clarinet with the Grand Symphonic Winds. Outside of music, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, gardening, hiking on the North Shore, and volunteering for an animal rescue.
