Kara Swanson

Kara is a Private Flute Instructor in Eagan and the Creator/Instructor of The Whole Flutist Summer Camps and The Whole Flutist.2 Advanced Flute Choir.

Kara has been teaching privately in Eagan for over 25 years and she thoroughly enjoys working with students from a variety of districts and private schools. She enjoys watching many of these students participate in All-State Ensembles, Honor Bands and local Orchestras, as well as their school Bands.
Kara attended Boise State University and received a Bachelors Degree from St. Cloud State University. Her past teachers were Dr. Judith Herring, Dr. Rita Knuesel and Adele Lorraine.

Kara's life passion is to strive to develop the musical potential of each student to as full a degree as possible, as well as to instill in them a confidence and joy of attainment which will enrich their lives and contribute to the development of their whole person.
