Julianne Mulvey

Julianne Mulvey was appointed Associate Principal Bassoon of the Minnesota Orchestra in 2023. She maintains a private studio and has taught at VIA Academy and at University of Wisconsin - Madison Double Reed Day. Lessons will include fundamentals (scales, intervals, long tones etc.), etudes, and repertoire, balancing the student's interests with a structured curriculum. Students will develop their bassoon skills alongside their practice skills, learning how to get the most out of their practicing so they can have more fun playing the bassoon and making music!
