Elizabeth York

Elizabeth is an active performer and teacher through the region. She is Associate Concertmaster of the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra, and on faculty at College of St. Benedict/St. John's University. She holds a Doctorate in Musical Arts in violin and viola from Stony Brook University. Lessons are focused on the individual goals of the student, with a high standard of technical and musical development. She strives to create a helpful, welcoming lesson environment where students are excited to practice, gain self-confidence, and learn how to share their inherent musicianship.
