I tailor lessons to the individual needs and goals of each student. My students regularly participate in GTCYS, MYS, MBDA honor bands, MMEA All-State, and consistently earn Superior and Excellent ratings in Solo & Ensemble. I also make and sell reeds, and teach reed-making. In addition to teaching privately, I teach at Gustavus Adolphus College, serve as the Associate Principal bassoon of the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra, and bassoonist with the Chione Quintet.
