David Block

David began playing violin at the age of 2 as part of a very musical family. He completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University and his graduate studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music. His goal as a teacher is to make learning how to play the violin fun and enjoyable  He teaches private lessons at Eden Prairie High School and also out of his home in Plymouth. David has experience teaching students ages 6 and above and is comfortable teaching in both the Suzuki and traditional styles. David has also served as a GTCYS placement judge, seating audition judge, and sectional coach.
