Cosette Isakson

Cosette Isakson is an active freelance musician and percussion instructor in the Twin Cities. She is a GTCYS alum who developed a keen interest for orchestral playing during her time in GTCYS Symphony. She has performed on tour in Italy with GTCYS, and in Costa Rica with the University of Minnesota percussion ensemble. She has performed with several local orchestras including the Mankato Symphony and Mississippi Valley Orchestra. She is committed to helping students build a foundation of trust in themselves and their playing, along with the necessary skills to thrive in an ensemble setting.
Cosette currently studies with Fernando Meza at the University of Minnesota School of Music.
