Catherine Himmerich

Catherine Himmerich holds both a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude in Violin Performance, and a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota. Catherine is the concertmaster of the Minnesota Philharmonic Orchestra, which has always been committed to performing music by under-represented composers, including LGBTQ, women, and BIPOC composers. Catherine has also been the concertmaster and guest concertmaster of various choral/orchestral ensembles in the Twin Cities metro and plays in the Metamorphosis Duo.
