Brenna Bast

Brenna is a youth alum of the MacPhail center for music, and attended the Suzuki Institute in Stevens Point, WI for 10+ years. Post graduate, she studied with Roger Frisch of the Minnesota Orchestra.

As a "Suzuki kid" and now teacher, she values of keeping a balance of fun along with technical studies to improve kids' focus and prevent burnout. She creates a customized learning plan for each student depending on age, parental involvement in practice, goals, and time. From there, we will customize student learning plan to include a balance of solo work, scales, sight reading, etudes / technical study, music theory, film / holiday music, and performance skills.
