Barbara Holm
Barbara Anne Koenen Holm received a MM in flute performance from The Boston Conservatory in 1990, studying with Robert Stallman. She has also studied with Adele Lorraine and Emil Opava of the Minnesota Orchestra, and Irene Pruzan. She is the founder of The Legacy Ensemble , and has also played in many other groups including The Highland Park Trio (St. Paul) and L’Ensemble Caprice (Denver). A member of The St. Paul Civic Symphony for over 20 years, she has also served as Associate Principal Flute of The Metropolitan Wind Symphony of Boston. She has taught flute for 40 years and also has experience coaching ensembles.
Besides teaching and performing, Barbara is also an arranger and composer and has founded Holm Legacy Publishing.
