Jonathan Brandt

Jonathan Brandt, Summer Brass Ensembles Conductor

A native of Fresno, California, Jonathan Brandt is an active freelance musician in the Twin Cities area. Jonathan has performed with the Minnesota Opera, VocalEssence, Los Angeles Philharmonic, South Dakota Symphony, Fresno Philharmonic, and the New World Symphony. Jonathan holds degrees from the University of Southern California, Rice University, and the University of Minnesota, where he studied with Boyde Hood, Marie Speziale, and David Baldwin. In addition, Jonathan is a faculty member at Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Cloud State University, and the MacPhail Center for Music.
