Artistic Coordinator
As Artistic Coordinator, Delaney contracts and organizes sectional coaches and judges. She began her work with GTCYS as a private teacher to GTCYS students and as a sectional coach with various orchestras. She holds a Master’s of Music in Horn Performance from The University of Cincinnati – College Conservatory of Music CCM (OH) and a Bachelor’s of Music in Performance from St. Olaf College (MN).
Delaney is an avid performer and educator throughout Minnesota. She currently serves as Second Horn with the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony, is a member of both Bur Oak Brass and the Laurel Faculty Woodwind Quintet, and performs with the Encore Wind Ensemble in addition to her other freelancing work. Delaney has a boisterous private studio as well, where she teaches everyone from beginners to advanced students of all ages. In her free time, Delaney loves to play with her two cats, Tam-Tam and Baloo, read an excessive number of books, and travel with her husband, Anthony.
