Letter From Tamara (9/4)

Hello Concertino East and welcome to our 2025 season at GTCYS.

I look forward to meeting you all in person later this month, as I am recovering at home from my recent shoulder surgery. I am very grateful to Brian for leading last rehearsal, and he will also be your conductor for next week’s rehearsal.

For your GTCYS 10 this week, I am asking students to prioritize listening to your pieces and identifying what the personally challenging spots are in each piece. Try to identify at least one spot in each piece in your folder that will take some extra effort on your part to play well in next week’s rehearsal.
