Sinfonia West,

This week was all about TEMPO!!

It is time for you to SLOWLY increase the tempo on each of our pieces.

We wrote tempo markings in our music, but in case you missed them:

– Dance of the Tumblers: 124: Quarter note

–Cumberland cross: 64-64: Quarter note at beginning and 120: Quarter note at 25

–Voyager: 132: Quarter note

We will FOR SURE be performing Dane and Cumberland for our Fall Festival. We might also do Voyager if time allows so please continue to work on all three!

BRASS, PERCUSSION, WOODWINDS: Your coaches had a lot to share with you! Please use this information in your practicing this week!

With only 6 rehearsals left, you should have a good handle on your music. If you do not, please add some practice time to your GTCYS music and bring your music to your private teacher.
