Update: Harmony at Orchestrating Opportunities

Dear Harmony Families,
After careful discussion with GTCYS and Riverview staff, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Harmony’s in-person performance at Orchestrating Opportunities on Sunday, February 22.
We know this will be disappointing for students and families, and we share that disappointment. Our top priority is the well-being and safety of our students, and this feels like the most responsible decision at this time.
We remain excited about Harmony’s upcoming performances and want to share the following updates:
- Instead of performing in person at Orchestrating Opportunities, Harmony will be recorded at Riverview in advance. The video will be shown at the event, and the recorded performance will also be shared with families.
- Saturday, February 28: Harmony Riverview will perform as planned at Two Rivers High School.
- Sunday, May 10: Harmony will perform at the GTCYS Spring Festival at Orchestra Hall.

Hola, familias de Harmony:
Tras una cuidadosa conversación con el personal de GTCYS y Riverview, hemos tomado la difícil decisión de cancelar la presentación de Harmony en Orchestrating Opportunities el domingo 22 de febrero.
Sabemos que esto será decepcionante para los estudiantes y sus familias, y compartimos esa decepción. Nuestra principal prioridad es el bienestar y la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes, y consideramos que esta es la decisión más responsable en este momento.
Seguimos entusiasmados con las próximas presentaciones de Harmony y queremos compartir las siguientes actualizaciones:
- En lugar de presentarse en persona en Orchestrating Opportunities, Harmony se grabará en Riverview con antelación. El video se proyectará en el evento y la presentación grabada también se compartirá con las familias.
- Sábado 28 de febrero: Harmony Riverview se presentará según lo previsto en la escuela secundaria Two Rivers.
- Domingo 10 de mayo: Harmony se presentará en el Festival de Primavera de GTCYS en el Orchestra Hall.
