Student Leadership Team Meeting Follow-up and Action Items for Feb 11

Dear Student Leadership Team,

Thank you for another great meeting this week! If you were unable to attend last night’s meeting, please view the agenda. We went over details for Ambassadors, Orchestrating Opportunities volunteers, and the upcoming Donation Drive.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, February 25, 6:30-8:00pm, in person, at Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Announcement for Week of February 16

  • Hi everyone! We have a few announcements to share with you tonight!
  • Donation Drive (Symphony members, please skip this section)
    • We’re excited to share that at our upcoming community concerts, we’ll be collecting donations to support community members in need.
    • You’re welcome to bring your donation to your concert and drop it off at the table near the entrance. Please check your weekly email for details about the most needed items.
  • Open Rehearsals are coming up soon. Our open rehearsal is on (ask your RA). Please invite any friends you think might be interested in GTCYS! Also, we need help welcoming our guests. A sign up for this opportunity is in your weekly orchestra email.
  • And now some Get to Know You questions! Turn to someone near you and answer the question:
    • What is your favorite (or least favorite) class at school and why? (pause to allow people to talk for about 1 minute)
    • Would you rather conduct a band, orchestra, or choir and why? (pause to allow people to talk for about 1 minute)
