Welcome to GTCYS Student Leadership Team!
We’re thrilled to have you be a part of the team this season! Our first meeting is Wednesday, October 8, 6:30-8:00pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Downtown Minneapolis. Check out the details below and feel free to reach out with any questions.
Location and Parking
- Location: Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1200 S Marquette Ave, Minneapolis. Parents may park and stay or drop off.
- Parking: Free underground ramp, entrance on Alice Rainville Place (13th St) between Nicollet Mall and Marquette Ave. Note: Alice Rainville is only accessible from the south; Marquette is one-way south of 12th.
- Drop-Off: Use the drop-off area on Marquette Ave (east side). If doors are locked, press the call button. Follow green signs inside to our room.
Sign up to bring art supplies
We’ll be making suggestion boxes for all 11 orchestras. Please check around your home and sign up to bring supplies. You’ll take any extras back with you at the end of the night.
Supplies needed:
- Shoeboxes
- Tape
- Markers
- Construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Other fun materials (no glitter, please!)
Since we’re guests at Westminster, let’s keep cleanup easy and leave the room better than we found it!
Dinner provided!
We’ll have pizza for everyone! Please bring your own drink (water, juice, or soda). If you have dietary restrictions (gluten, dairy, etc.), feel free to bring food that works best for you.
