Thank you for the great first meeting this week! It was fun meeting new people and seeing many returning members!
Meeting Summary
After enjoying pizza and conversation, we went out to the hallway and played a Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament. Thank you to Symphony members Karina, Layla, and Evelyn for leading this activity!

Then we headed back into our meeting room where we brainstormed some ideas for social media trends. Thank you for leaving the room spotless at the end of our meeting!

Check out this cool box! [HOLD UP SUGGESTION BOX] This is our brand-new Suggestion Box, and it’s a super important tool for our orchestra.

This box is for all of your ideas and thoughts about our orchestra. You can share a funny music joke, suggest a piece of music, or share an idea to make GTCYS better.

We have little pieces of paper right here. [HOLD UP PAPER] When you have an idea, you can write it down. Then, just fold it up and drop it right in! We’ll make sure your ideas are shared.

The best part is you don’t have to write your name so you can share whatever is on your mind. You can find our Suggestion Box right there [POINT TO THE LOCATION] So, if you have a great idea, remember the suggestion box is waiting!

Our next meeting is on Wednesday, October 22 from 6:30-7:30pm over Zoom. Tony Corson, Operations Manager, will be visiting to collect your feedback about fall retreats. I’ll send out a reminder and Zoom link as we get closer.
