SLT Meeting Follow up and Action Items for April 29
Hello Student Leadership Team!
Thanks for another great meeting last night! After we shared celebrations, we met Uma Bhati, GTCYS alum and board member. We also met with Ben Van Wienen, GTCYS Librarian, to share thoughts about repertoire. Thank you for all of your ideas and we will share these with the conductors!

Announcements for Week of May 4
- Hi everyone! We’d like to start tonight’s announcements by reminding you about GTCYS Summer Orchestra Camp!
- It takes place from July 20-24 at the University of Minnesota
- You’ll learn music and then perform a concert at the end of the week.
- Here’s something great: you can submit your spring GTCYS audition video for summer camp. There’s no need to make another one!
- To learn more, visit the GTCYS website and click on Summer Camps in programs menu.
- We have two Get to Know You Questions tonight! Discuss with your stand partner or someone sitting close to you. We’ll clap three times when we’re ready for the next question.
