Sinfonia West March 1 Concert Details
Hello, Sinfonia West families,
We’re looking forward to your concert at Jefferson High School on Sunday, March 1 at 1:30pm. This shared performance with Concert Orchestra is free and open to the public, and we hope you’ll invite friends and family!

This performance is a mandatory event for members of GTCYS Sinfonia West.
Complete an absence form in advance if you’re not able to attend.
CONCERT SCHEDULE
SUNDAY, MARCH 1
- 12:05pm: Students arrive
- 12:40pm: Mandatory dress rehearsal
- 1:05pm: Audience begins seating
- 1:30pm:Concert begins
- 2:30pm (approx.): Concert ends
ATTIRE
All students wear family concert attire:
- Single-color long-sleeved shirt
- Black pants or floor-length skirt
- Black dress shoes
Do not wear any aerosol-based perfumes or colognes.
WHAT TO BRING
- Every student MUST bring a music stand
- Instrument and all accessories: remember your bow, extra strings, rosin, rock stops. Percussion students must bring a snare drum, snare drum stand, bell set, and mallets.
- Music folder: Check to make sure all your music is in your folder!
- Please leave valuables and homework at home.
GTCYS GIVES BACK DONATION DRIVE
GTCYS Student Leadership Team is excited to give back to our community through a donation drive at our upcoming community concerts!
We invite you to support our partner organizations by bringing an item from the list of most-needed donations below. Collection bins and signage will be available at each concert venue:

PARKING AND DROP OFF
Jefferson High School – 4001 W 102nd St, Bloomington, MN 55437
- Free Parking On-Site
- Enter through Door 34 for quickest access to performance area
VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED!
We’re still looking for some volunteers to help with this concert!
- Ushers will hand out programs as people enter the performance space. They’ll also get first dibs on seats before the concert!
- Greeters will welcome students and points them towards their warmup space.
- Donation drive volunteers will help with Student Leadership Team’s donation table.
- A Photographer will take photos (DSLR required)

- Your orchestra’s Open Rehearsal is coming up on Monday, March 9! Young musicians of all skill levels can sit in, play along, and learn what GTCYS is all about. This is a great chance to introduce new students to GTCYS, so we hope you’ll spread the word! Guests can register here.
