On-Site Response Representatives

Thank you for continuing to be part of GTCYS’ orchestras.

As a follow-up to the rehearsal adjustments we implemented in January—including our flexible attendance policy, Zoom option, and volunteers—I want to share an additional step we have taken to support families. Beginning last week, we added a new On-Site Response Representative staff role at your GTCYS program location.

The Response Representative will be present before, during, and after rehearsals and serves as GTCYS’ designated point person in the unlikely event of an immigration-related site visit. While we don’t anticipate this, the Response Representative is prepared to calmly follow established GTCYS protocols and communicate with GTCYS leadership if needed.

The individual in this role may vary, so you may see a different individual from week to week.
