Philharmonia East Rehearsal Livestream Instructions

Dear Philharmonia East families,

We are pleased to offer livestreams of orchestra rehearsals for students who are unable to attend in person for any reason. Although online participation can’t match the musical experience of rehearsing in person, we hope it helps students to continue learning.Sectional nights will not be livestreamed. Please check your orchestra’s calendar for information about when sectional nights occur.

If you won’t attend in person:

• Complete an absence form (available on your Philharmonia East member page)
• Use this Zoom info to join online during your regular rehearsal time:

Online Rehearsal Guidelines

1. This link will be the same each week. Bookmark or save the link for easy access. Please do not share this private link with others.
2. Students will be muted during rehearsal.
3. Spotlight the conductor so they appear as your primary view on screen.
4. Students should play along and follow the conductor just as they would in person.
5. Rehearsal Assistants may check the chat periodically, but responses during rehearsal aren’t guaranteed.
6. Online rehearsals will not be recorded.
7. Note: sectionals will not be livestreamed – only full rehearsals.

• While we’re unable to provide individual technical support, we will do our best to address any issues on our end.
