Hey Philharmonia East!

I am so sorry that our concert was cancelled!  The snowy weather came at just the wrong time.

I am so proud of all of the hard work you have done this first semester.  You have tried new things and developed new skills.  You have met new friends.  You have made great strides in your instrument technique.  But most importantly, you have made amazing music with musicians you didn’t even know just a few months ago.  Thanks for bringing effort, joy, compassion, and openness to our weekly rehearsals.

Our next semester will welcome several new members.  We will have another retreat in January, as well as concerts in February and May.  Our next rehearsal is January 6.  There are no rehearsals on December 16, 23 and 30.

I hope that you have a wonderful winter break.  I am so excited to see and hear what our next semester will bring.

Work hard, play hard.
